Carving the Arrow's Shaft

This sermon continued our Arrows & Quivers campaign by calling parents to the formative work of shaping their children’s souls through the steady means of God’s Word. From Deuteronomy 6:4–9, we saw that the warrior-parent is called to carve the shaft by teaching their children to confess truth, love God with whole-hearted affection, and live under the rhythms of faithful, everyday obedience—so they might be launched as straight and steadfast arrows into a world of idols.
